SEASONAL RENTALS

The winter season for rentals runs from November 1 to April 30. Potential tenants need to get registered with Key 1 Realty as soon as possible. The date of actual registration is very important! That can be done by simply completing the registration form below.

1. Bookings are done in order of length of stay beginning with longest term prospective tenants (i.e., 5-month, 4-month, etc.) Within each category, returning tenants are called first. Owners determine what lease is most acceptable to them.

2. Those individuals who have registered for a stay of 2 months will be contacted next and again by the date they have registered in our office.

3. Those individuals who have registered for a stay of 1 month will be contacted next again by the date they have registered with our office.

Bookings for the coming winter season usually begin in mid to late August. There is no need to contact us, if you have registered. We will call you!

Costs and additional information are as follows:

1. Monthly rent as indicated on my website plus 9% sales tax on leases less than 6 months;

2. $500 security deposit from which a cleaning fee is deducted (amount depends on size of unit but should not exceed $90);

3. In pet occupied units, $500 pet deposit from which professional carpet cleaning and flea spray are deducted (cost depends on size of unit/carpeted areas). Please Note: Since the carpet cleaning & flea spraying is a 2 day process (business days) it would require that you & the pet vacate by 11 a.m. the day before the carpet cleaning so the unit can also be cleaned.

4. Some units also require an electric cap as annotated on my website;

5. If a tenant requests expanded cable (beyond Channel 24) ($40/mo) and/or internet service ($45/mo), these fees would also apply.

6. All lawn care and pool care is included in the monthly rental amount.
